In my opinion, this new "tougher stance" does much to make everyone feel better about a dangerous sport--and little beyond that. The big hits are still going to happen, and inches separate a clean hit from a dirty one. At the speed of NFL football, injuries are still bound to happen. If we are not willing to accept this as a fact of the game, then we must change the game to reduce the risk. A few possible changes are suggested in the video. I also briefly discuss Brett Favre's crotch, and Ben Roethlisberger 's return in the context of a piece written by Jason Whitlock of Fox Sports.
