Neon Lights For Advertising - Great Attention Grabbers

Advertising using name lights are food for most every situation. Neon lights are great attention grabbers for a business, pool hall, bar, college, or organization. Neon lights are made for indoors and outdoors; also come in more than 150 different colors.

The meaning of Neon has its roots in the Greek language and means "neos" or "the new gas." These bright lights came to this country almost 100 years ago from France and have evolved into a staple of the sign and novelty sign businesses.

Neon Lights

Basic neon lights for advertising are made using glass tubes and the gas Neon which produces a basic red color. Additional, gases are then added to produce different colors, such as:

  • Helium for a gold color

  • CO2 for a white color

  • Mercury for a blue color

  • Phosphorus is coated on the inside of the glass tube to obtain a large variety of colors

Regardless of how they are made, these lights can be custom designed for any advertising purpose. Such advertising uses include:

  • Restaurants

  • Food

  • Casinos

  • Beverages

  • Grocery Stores

  • Movie Theaters

  • Department Stores

  • Bars

  • Drug Stores

  • Organizations

  • And many more

Neon lights provide an advertising atmosphere for any business.

Neon Lights for Sports Teams

When searching for advertising for a bar or organization the use of professional and college sports lights provide recognition and customer loyalty. Options include:

  • College teams

  • NFL teams

  • NBA teams

  • MLB teams

  • Helmets

  • Logos

  • Clocks

  • Mascots

Fans purchase these signs for their business. Colleges purchase these signs for book stores, sport arenas, and many other uses. Fraternities and sororities purchase these signs for display inside their houses.

Neon Bar Lights

Bar neon lights are sometimes designed as advertising novelty items such as:

  • Palm trees

  • Someone lying on a lawn chair drinking their favorite beverage

  • Many other creative designs

These novelty signs are all designed to do one thing, which is to get you relaxed in an environment that allows you to let your hair down and partake in your favorite beverage

Neon Beer Lights

There are so many neon beer lights from which to choose for advertising, rarely is there enough wall space in a bar or pool room to hang them all. So the owner is forced to select neon lights which represent products being sold to build brand loyalty.

It is all about the psychological effect these advertising neon lights have on customs, they will increase sales of a particular brand of beer. The more pleasing and colorful the beer sign the more likely a customer is to look at it. This in turn will lead them to select the beer the sign the bar is selling rather than another brand.

The Role of a Chiropractic Doctor in Football?

Many teams at high school, college and NFL levels employ the abilities of the chiropractic doctor in their team function. By educating the athletes at high school level or even younger, you have the potential of preventing serious neck and spinal injuries. Most of the catastrophic injuries will occur to compression of the cervical spine. Many of these problems can be prevented by teaching the player that he should not perform a tackle or block with the head bent. Do not use a helmet block. This technique will cause a great deal of pressure and surpass the ability of the spine, surrounding ligaments and muscle to absorb the jolt of the play.

Education must begin with the athlete. The athlete should be encouraged to keep their head up on contact and not to use the helmet as the primary contact. They should also be performing strengthening and conditioning exercises for the neck and muscles that surround the cervical spine. Although their mind may be on the play, they should also concentrate on the proper procedures necessary to prevent injuries whether minor or catastrophic.

The coaching staff of the team should also be taught. A healthy exchange of information with the coaching staff can give the chiropractor the knowledge needed to conduct a beneficial team meeting with the players. First, they need to know what the staff knows about body mechanics and training. Then a meeting with the entire team should be in order. During that meeting, there are points that need to be discussed including the muscle building exercises that are necessary to maintain the integrity of the cervical spine. This should also include some training for flexibility as well.

By having properly fitted helmets on each player, some injuries can be less severe or prevented. Messages such as protect your neck, don't contact with your helmet, keep your head up and don't use your head as a piece of equipment in a football game.

Parents should also be included in these training sessions. By presenting a program that will assist in the accomplishment of a safe football game, much injury and issues can be avoided. Parents can encourage their students to perform the proper exercises and give reminders as they leave for the game. Educating the players, parents and staff can actually reduce the liability of the team. No helmet can prevent all spine and brain injuries, but if the team emphasizes the mandatory sticker on the helmet as a teaching tool, many injuries can be avoided. The sticker reads "Warning. Do not strike an opponent with any part of this helmet or face mask. This is violation of football rules and may cause you to suffer severe brain or neck injuries, including paralysis or death" Emphasize also that injuries can occur quite accidentally.

Football Fans Wearing NFL Jerseys, Helmets and Body Paint - Crazy, Or a Good Idea?

Oh, lighten up! The wigs. The official NFL jerseys. The pig snouts. The strips and stripes and logos stenciled on face and abdomen. The Swiss cheese hats. The Viking helmets. It's all just good, clean fun. Isn't it?

Well, maybe when you try to wash off those blue and white stripes, not so clean. Better stick with the NFL jersey.

Still, why go to all that trouble just to root for your favorite football team? Can't you have just as much fun in jeans and a T-shirt as you could in, say, a Swiss cheese hat and an authentic Packers jersey?

Maybe not.

Consider this: the team itself is not satisfied to dress in jeans and a T-shirt. Granted, it helps to have a visual clue when you're trying to throw a pass. Or make a block. Keeps the passing to and blocking of the wrong team to a minimum.

And that's the point: the team. By their uniforms ye shall know them.

There's something to be said for the camaraderie generated by dressing alike. When her kids were teenagers, a friend of ours noted that they made a point of dressing 'differently.' Which meant not like their parents. But, she observed, they all dressed exactly like each other!

So, too, if you're tailgating in the parking lot, by your NFL jersey shall they know you. Instantly, total strangers become long-lost friends.

Okay. Depending on which NFL jersey you happen to be wearing. But that still makes half the people in the parking lot friends. And it's not as if you'll be going to war with the rest of them. Well, probably not, anyway.

That is, dressing in the NFL gear of your choice can create a sort of non-toxic difference. The kind that usually allows both sides to have a drink (coffee, tea, or Bud Light) with each other after (or during) the game.

And look: you're not going to get half of the world to fall in love with the other half anyway. Not even on your best day. So if you can get at least a quarter of the spectators at any football game to become buddies with another quarter, well, you're half way toward, if not world peace, at least a merrier football stadium.

Besides, it's fun.

Where to Find Hard Hats for Sale

Any where construction work is going on, be it buildings, roads or industries protection is a vital consideration to the workers and people moving around within the vicinity. Falling objects, debris, electric shock and collision with objects can cause serious head injuries. The head is a fundamental body organ that needs a lot of care hence wearing helmets will be a big plus. Do a good search online on hard hats for sale in the market to compare prices, best qualities, best designs, colors and more.

There are many big brands in the current market in competition to give customers the best helmets. The most common and well-known companies offering hard hats include Bullard, MSA, Jackson Safety, North Safety, Fibre Metal among others. They all keep to ANSI standards, which give an assurance that one is buying perfectly done caps. It is important to understand the various types of caps and the type of protection they are intended to provide. The caps can give you impact protection and or electrical shock protection. Getting a type I helmet gives you protection from top impact.

This means they reduce force of a falling object aiming to hit the head. Type II protects someone from the impact of a blow hitting away from the head center. They have a thick lining of foam from the inside. Class A, B and C which are currently known as Class General (G), Class Electrical (E) and Class(C) Conducive consecutively, are classified according to electric measure. Class C gives no protection to anything conducting electricity. Electrical class gives protection to high voltages while General class gives protection to low voltage contacts.

Most hard hats for sale are available in various colors including yellow, green, orange, black, white and pink helmets. Most organizations give each color a priority in defining different duties to employees/workers. Managers for example can have white cap, inspectors can have orange, workers can have yellow, and visitors can have pink and so on and so forth. This helps in achieving a certain profile in the work place for each person involved.

Helmets are also made to give a designer a certain class. For example, one may get caps with a brand of the US flag. The most common are the military designs, flag types, patriotic designs, full graphics designs, NFL Team among others. However, it is possible to have your helmets customized to give your organization more popularity. Most of them have their logos printed on the caps to personalize it and help in marketing and promotion.

Take note that various accessories accompany most hard hats for sale. They help improve the functionality. The most common are the face shields, earmuffs, the liners, suspensions and lights. With these tips, take a step and protect yourself and your people for you need them anyway. Ensure your caps have an ASNI label in the inside for best assurance. Ensure that helmets are well maintained, and replace them when they are worn out. The internet is the source of any replacements or brand new items.

6 Tips For Fun at NFL Training Camp

Summer is officially here and NFL teams have released their training camp schedules for the 2010 NFL football season. There is no better summer vacation for families than a visit to watch the players of the NFL prepare for the upcoming season.

Each year in late July the players, coaches, administrators, and assorted other NFL staff members make their way to training camp. For 3 to 4 weeks, the players and coaches work intensely to improve their personal and team performances. Its great to see the rigorous work that the players put in to prepare for the 16 game regular season.

Many of the 32 NFL teams hold their camps outside of their home city. For example, the Baltimore Ravens hold training camp 1 hour from Baltimore in Westminster, MD and the Chicago Bears hold theirs in Bourbannais, IL,1.5 hours south of Chicago.

On field practices are usually open to the public and are free of charge. This means that fans can watch the players at work -- participating in drills, 7 on 7s, and joking around with teammates, coaches, and even fans. Moreover, for fantasy football players, it is a chance to check out the players up close before the fantasy football draft.

All 32 NFL teams hold public practices, but each vary in their schedules, policies, and Here are 5 tips for getting the most out of your visit to NFL training camp: here are the training camp locations and dates.

1) Items for physical comfort. There are many things that you should bring to make sure you and your crew are as comfortable as possible. This is especially true if you are bringing kids with you. Remember, training camp is outside and occurs in the late July and early August. In many places, this means that it will be hot. Bottled water, snacks, sunblock, hats, and even seats like those you might bring to a kids soccer game. Different teams offer different seating arrangements and provisions for shade. All have some form of concessions, but they may be expensive and are not likely to be the healthiest options. (BTW, parking is typically free)

2) Confirm the time of the practice, the location, and get there early. The benefit to being there early is that you can watch the players come onto the field and stretch. You will quickly see each players personality in the time and way they enter the field. Its also a great chance to see the players up close, often times before they have their pads or helmets on. Great opportunities for pictures and sometimes autographs and short conversations. Make sure you allow some time for traffic, parking, and walking to the facility from the parking area. (Most teams offer information on their official websites regarding parking)

3) Bring a camera, felt tip markers and pens, and mini-helmets, pennants, hats, jerseys, t-shirts and other items that you would like autographed. Firstly, when we say bring a camera, we mean a real camera. While cell phone cameras have expanded our universe, for an NFL training camp, a real camera is a much better call. For example, zooming in may be the best way to get a close up of Peyton Manning as he works with backups and the quarterback coach on a far field. Or you may want more megapixels for the picture of you and Larry Fitzgerald during your visit to Flagstaff, AZ.

For autographs, the opportunities will vary based on team policies. Each team will have designated autograph sessions and some autograph opportunities are dependent on the personalities of various players. For example, each training camp, the Pittsburgh Steelers hold a Friday night practice at a local high school in Latrobe, PA. As the practice begins, the entire Steelers team walks out to the fences around the field and sign autographs for about 15 minutes.

4) Get a good night sleep and save your voice. A visit to an NFL training camp is an awesome fun and can be very tiring. Much like a trip to an amusement park -- excitement + sun + heat can make us all tired. Some of us may even become cranky. Make sure that you follow this tip as well the others to cut down on the likelihood of crankiness. Also, be ready to cheer for your favorites. Whether shouting hey to Ocho Cinco or joining in a rendition of Bear Down Chicago Bears with other fans, training camp is a great opportunity to show your team spirit.

5) Bring a football and other small games to play with. There is nothing more inspiring than watching pro football players practice. Its why you will see countless pigskins flying around and fans running patterns while the pros practice on the field.

Some teams may even provide kids zones full of activities or allow you to help with practice (fans at Raven's camp can shag field goal attempts on the side fields). Check your teams website to find out what type of activities they offer at their facilities. All will likely have souvenir shops so be prepared for that!

6) Dress like its a game! Players, coaches, and other fans will appreciate your full support during camp. Two a day practices are draining and enthusiastic fans can easily change the momentum around camp. Get your jerseys, team t-shirts, hats, and flags ready. Remember, the real season is just around the corner and we all could use a tune up.

Have a great time visiting training camp this summer. It is a great, low cost way to have a memorable summer vacation with the family. Also, all NFL fans and fantasy football players will have a chance to see the stars up close and get ready for the season ahead.

NFL Draft Spotlight by Team - #30 Pick by the Minnesota Vikings

#30 - Minnesota Vikings - Patrick Robinson - Florida State

Minnesota did sign Lito Sheppard today to a deal, but it was only a 1-year deal, not a long term solution. CB Cedric Benson is recovering from a knee surgery, so depth is even more critical. The other starting CB is Antoine Winfield, who is 32 years old. Robinson is a playmaker and ran a 4.38 40 at his pro day. Some of the other CBs are working their way up the draft, such as Kareem Jackson, but I see the Vikings taking Robinson here.

The Vikings don't have a lot of holes beyond a thin secondary because of injuries and short contracts, but everything on the 2010 team hinges on if Brett Favre returns. The team goes from a Super Bowl contender to a team that misses the playoffs. The offense is set with a good o-line and Adrian Peterson running the ball, and assuming Favre returns, Sidney Rice is becoming a top-5 receiver along with rookie sensation Percy Harvin going into his second year. Bernard Berrian is a good #2 receiver but often injured, and Minnesota should consider drafting a WR at some point in the draft for insurance.

There is also talk about drafting a QB for the future like Tim Tebow, but the Vikings need to go after a player who can make a difference this year and next year in the 1st round. All of that assumes Favre plays for one or two more years. Patrick Robinson can provide good depth and play nickel corner next year and eventually develop into a starter.
