Johan Cruyff Retro Shirts - A Look at 3 Cruyff Jerseys Including His Famous Holland Football Shirts

It is not really surprising that Johan Cruyff retro shirts are so popular. Of all the many talented players in the "Total Football" Dutch side of the seventies, Cruyff stood out as being the star of the team. A striker, who was equally as comfortable in midfield or on the wing, he is probably most famous for an incredible piece of skill he developed that became known as the "Cruyff Turn".

There are many different types of Johan Cruyff retro shirts available, partly due to the number of clubs the Dutch master played for during his career, including Ajax and Barcelona. You are able to purchase each of his club jerseys as well as his best known Holland football shirts at specialist websites online.

Below we take a look at three of those Johan Cruyff retro shirts, all of which are fine examples of vintage football jerseys from the seventies.

Cruyff Classic Ajax Shirt

Cruyff began his club career at Ajax, where he was twice voted the European Player of the year, before leaving Ajax early in the 1973/74 season for Barcelona. Cruyff played a total of 318 matches for Ajax, scoring 250 goals, winning eight league titles, five Dutch cups and three European Cups, but decided that his time at the club had come to an end when his team-mates voted Piet Keizer as captain over him, something which really disappointed Cruyff.

In celebration of his 60th birthday, Ajax retired the famous number 14 shirt in honour of the player. The Cruyff Classic Ajax Shirt is based around a white jersey with a thick red stripe down the middle.

Cruyff Classic FC Barcelona Shirt

Cruyff moved to Barcelona for a then world record fee of £922,300. At the time, he was considered to be the best player in the world and his immediate presence in the team helped Barcelona win their first Spanish league championship in 14 years.

These Johan Cruyff retro shirts are based around the famous blue and purple stripes of the Barcelona home kit and really are a classic looking seventies retro shirt.

Cruyff Classic 1974 Holland Shirt

Johan Cruyff played a total of 48 matches for his country, scoring 33 goals. He famously wore a shirt with only two black stripes along the sleeves, as opposed to the usual design of three, which was a trademark of Adidas, and was worn by all the other Dutch players. He also wore the number 14, despite the fact that the Dutch squad numbers were arranged alphabetically and so he should actually have worn the Number 1 shirt.

So where can you get these Johan Cruyff retro shirts?

Retro Football Shirts features a number of different Johan Cruyff retro shirts, including his famous Holland football shirts.

New Sponsors for the New Season 2010-11 Premier League Jerseys

It goes without saying that running a modern football club these days costs a lot of money. To be able to keep a team competitive means paying ever higher wages for players, coaches and other supporting staff. It is for this reason that revenue is vital in the running of a football club. An important contributor to  a steady stream of revenue is having a wealthy financial backing in the form of sponsorship, especial shirt sponsorship.

The Premier League alone boasts £100m worth of Shirt Sponsorships for the 2010-11 season, seeing an increase of £28.11m from 2009-10.

This season there are a record five teams which have signed new deals with a new sponsor; Topping the revenue charts are Liverpool and Manchester United who both have signed new deals of £20m per year. Liverpool ended their 18 year affiliation with Carlsberg after agreeing a new deal with Standard Chartered Bank whilst Manchester United agreed a deal with AON, after they terminated their deal with AIG. Liverpool's deal with Standard Chartered will see them gaining an extra £12.55m per season when compared with their previous deal with Carlsberg.

Aston Villa and Fulham both agree a new deal with Forex trading. Aston Villa agreed a deal with FxPro after having their shirt sponsorship given to charity organization Acorns during previous seasons. The new deal with FxPro will see them earn £5m per year. Fulham also signed a deal with Forex Trading seeing them earning around £1m more than their previous deal with LG.

Blackpool, which is at the bottom of the list regarding sponsorship revenue have also signed a new deal with Wonga worth just half a million. This however still represents an increase of £300,000 from their deal with Carbrini last season.

Some teams in the premier league this year however will not see a change in the sponsors you will see on their shirts and in some cases such as Newcastle United and  Sunderland they have actually seen a decline in revenue stream from their sponsors. Newcastle's deal with Northern Rock fell from £4.8m to £2.5m whilst Sunderland agreed a deal with Tombola which will earn them £1.5m less than the previous season.

Show Team Support Through Youth NFL Jerseys

The National Football League or NFL has been very famous all over the world in the 21st century. However, we remain clueless that it struggled during its first decade of operation with teams coming in and dropping out with discouraging regularity. Just like other sports associations like NBA and FIFA, the NFL never gained popularity on its first day. It started in the 1920s and Joe F. Carr was commissioned as the league's president. The NFL started to gain popularity when Red Grange signed with the Chicago Bears, which is one of the league's most powerful team back then. Grange was the most phenomenal among the halfbacks of his time and when he had his debut against the Chicago Cardinals at Wrigley Field in Chicago, 36,000 fans went to see his game. This number doubled when they fought against the New York Giants at Polo Grounds in New York. This kind of crowd was unheard, before this. Red Grange retired in 1935 and became one of the all time greats of the NFL.

The NFL has been a part of every American's life nowadays. No NFL fan can live without their own NFL apparel. Every popular NFL team has its own line of youth NFL jerseys. Whether it is summer or the popular winter outfit, youth NFL jerseys has its own variations and styles. For every NFL fanatic, it is imperative to make sure that his/her inventory is always on track. The popular youth NFL jerseys is not just for NFL games and gatherings; you can actually wear it for almost any occasions. Not for the coat and tie cocktail parties though. Although authentic NFL jerseys are out in the market, replica jerseys are still part of the fashion. Even though it is cheaper than the authentic ones, it is very stylish that you can wear them to any informal occasions. Tank tops for girls can be very sexy, and tots can join in the fun with their popular team's youth NFL jerseys.

You can buy these apparels on your nearest sports house, NFL establishments and certain shopping centers. However, the most convenient way to get your hands on to your popular team's youth NFL jerseys is to go to your computer and shop online. Some NFL stores have their online counterparts that you can easily purchase any NFL apparels from them in the comfort of your own couch. These online stores offer within the day delivery that it feels like you bought them yourself at your nearby shopping district.

Whenever you just feel like it, or there is a sudden surge of eagerness to buy a particular NFL apparel, you can always go online and purchase it. Just make sure that it is within your budget and the site where you are buying it from is secured. You do not want anybody hacking your personal information.

The Throwback Jerseys of the Denver Broncos

Denver Broncos are not only famous for their wonderful on field playing but also for their throwback uniforms they wear. There are thousands of fans who love to wear their jerseys. The fan following for the team is really incredible. Their fans includes all age groups ranging from the sixties people to young kids. There are different kinds of jerseys and all of them have a good reception from their fans.

Fittingly the broncos also give a greater importance to their jerseys right from the beginning they started their career in 1960. Recently the throwback jersey was so popular between the broncos fans. The reason for this was the match among the Broncos and New England Patriots. They wore this throwback jerseys to celebrate their fiftieth season in the American Football League. The fans were really excited to see their stars wearing the vintage jersey and playing in front of their eyes.

The color of the throwback jersey is mustard yellow and brown and the helmet is of brown color. This is the jersey they wore in 1960. Before 2009 celebrations they wore this jersey on the thanksgiving match in 2001. On both occasions the reception of the uniform from the fans was pretty good. People started giving the throwback jerseys as gift for the wedding occasion and also for other family ceremonies.

Although there is an enormous and deep support for the throwback jersey at present, the fans of the 1960's did not love the jersey as they do now. They made some abusive comments and forced the team management to change the design of the jersey. The team held a bonfire to burn the striped socks and made the function as a celebration by introducing their new jersey which is more likely loved by the Denver people.

The replacement uniform for the Broncos was designed by Laura North-Allen. The replacement came in 1962 after two years of criticism. The newly designed uniform consisted of orange helmets, white pants and orange or white jerseys. In 1968 the Broncos introduced a new jersey which was famously know as "Orange Crush" received good response among the fans and they continued wearing this for a long period in many games they played.

However the fame of the throwback could not be beaten by any other uniforms. The old people who saw the 50th anniversary match was taken to their childhood days by the uniforms of the Broncos players. It is a pretty good experience to them. For the kids and the young men who were watching it was like a whole new experience and a rare occasion to witness. Overall the fans were in all sorts of excitement while seeing their team players wearing the vintage costume.

Now if you are ready to show your love for the Broncos, check out Denver Broncos throwback jerseys to add to your sports apparel collection.

How to Tell Authentic Jerseys From Others

As with any collectible, sports jerseys also have dispersed markets in the NFL shop: one for the authentic jerseys and one for the replicas. However, these markets aren't distinctly striking any longer. They are now complex together, making it more and more awkward to reveal about whether a sweater is authentic. Furthermore, since there are some different types of jerseys and not every style is duplicated the same way, there are part rules for each one. Learning how to tell if a pullover is authentic truly isn't hard, but it takes somewhat a bit of time before you know right which questions to ask or which chairs to test even before your since of the actual creation.

For all jerseys, take a look at the figures and the patches. The facts, if the sweater is authentic, should be sewn on. This applies to the total number, not just the border. Also, some jerseys (example: 49ers) will have certain following on the authentic ones. These figures will have dark to the right and under the number. Fake jerseys will have the same following benefit a very black border around the place of the number. These records that have stakeout all around are maybe also test printed. Jerseys that have sewn on facts are more dear to make. There's a story flying around motto that the more costly your sweater, the more very it is.

Check for the patches on the jersey. Sometimes, you might have to harmonize the player with their active being. There have been rumor of a jersey with a patch that says he was active in 2000, when in actuality he wasn't. The anniversary patches all mean something different, and some replicators puzzle one with another and spanking on the illegal one.

Authentic jerseys have more pulsating ensign than the fakes. However, this can become fully thorny to ensure for because replicas look rather straight when they aren't soon compared to an authentic. If the paint looks a bit preset, this should be a first red standard for you to proceed with caution.

If all besides fails, restraint for the executive logo of the NFL, NBA, or MLB. All allowed jerseys, no substance how good or bad they look, will conduct the logo as a mark of authenticity. Usually the authentic jerseys originate from the respective approved stock anyway, so there's no goal why the jersey shouldn't have that logo.

It might appear painless, with only a few places to impede, but you can also restrain for the inconsistency in material and a few other areas. Once you learn to assess jerseys very abruptly, your eyes can possibly harvest out the fakes from the factual ones even if you don't have the product, in situations like eBay.

Chicago Bears Jerseys Have Come a Long Way

Chicago Bears were founded in 1919 in Decatur, Illinois. In 1921 they moved to Chicago and become one of the founding members of NFL, one of two founding franchises still active, the second being Arizona Cardinals, originally also from Chicago. Chicago Bears are owners of many of NFL records, including most members enshrined it The Hall of Fame and most victories. The team has won eight NFL Championships and Super Bowl XX. Since 1971 they play on Soldier Field stadium. Their arch rivals are Green Bay Packers. Below, we are going to take a closer look at Chicago Bears Jerseys.

Chicago Bears' jersey came a long way from the ones originally used in 1920s. Those were made of wool, blue with tan stripes sewn into then, which were actually made of leather, to help player get a better grip on the ball. In 30s, they changed to all orange jersey and pants, and in 1936 they added orange stripes to the helmets and change jersey color to white. This was described by some fan as "an early version of psychedelia". The new designed was abandoned after just one season, after the fans showed how much they disliked it.

The familiar navy blue shirts with white, rounded numbers first appeared in 1949. In 1956 they added what was then called a TV numbers, player numbers on the jersey sleeves. In memory of George "Papa Bear" Halas, team added his initials GSH to the sleeves in 1984 season.

Today, they play in white or navy blue jersey with white or blue pants. Both versions of the pans have orange stripe outlined in blue or white along sides. In honor of NFL 75th anniversary, they introduced a third uniform in 1994 season, similar to their original from 1920, navy blue with orange stripes.

In 2002 Monday night football game against Green Bay Packers, Bears wore all blue uniform, combining their home navy blue jersey with blue pants for the first time. They lost the game and didn't use that combination until 2006 final game against Packers, which they also lost.

In 2005, they introduced orange jersey, which they use in one home game in season that is close to the Halloween. This jersey is regarded as one of the beast in the league, mainly because of its classic design.

Regardless of color, the most prominent feature of Chicago Bears jersey is the rounded numbers. They are the only team in the league that uses them, opposed to block numbers other teams use.

Bears wear navy blue helmets, with large letter C on the sides. The color of the letter changed during their history, sometimes being white, but in recent years orange C is mainly used.

Official mascot of the Chicago Bears is Staley Da Bear, named in honor of A. E. Staley, founder of the original Bears' franchise in 1919. He made his debut in 2003 season. Before him, Bears had Bearman, which was in fact a season ticket holder Don Wachter, who decided to help the team by cheerleading. He was allowed to run across the field with large Bear flag during the games.

When you think of a sport uniform, you probably think of football uniforms and those huge football jerseys that are usually available in department stores as well as sporting goods stores. Have you ever thought of creating your own custom football jersey? You can if you simply look in the right place. Do a search online and you will find many football jerseys for sale, but they aren't custom designed. With a custom shop you can actually design your own football jersey and make it as unique as you are.

Regardless of whether you need to buy for one or two dozen football players, you can find what you are looking for and needing with a custom shop. Many shops offer your own design but not many can offer you the opportunity to actually sit down and use a program to see what they design will look like before you order. Custom shops sometimes offer a program called custom jersey builder that allows you to actually build you jersey and see what it will look like before you place your order.

With the custom jersey builder, custom football jerseys are easy. You choose the jersey style, body, shoulder, sleeve and insert color, neck style and colors, cuff style and colors, the custom neck, sleeve stripe or pattern color, and your sleeve options. This is all just in the first steps of the process. You must choose a material for your jersey, then begin to think about the lettering you want to use on the front and back.

The next step is to choose your lettering for the jersey. Custom football jerseys generally have the team name on the front and the team member's name on the back along with their number. You get to choose the style of lettering, color, and whether you want them sewn on or screen printed. This includes lettering on the sleeves if you choose. Once you have completed this process and you have examined the picture of the product, it is time to begin listing your player's names and numbers.

During the next step you will choose the size of jersey for each player along with the name you want imprinted on the back and their number. For example if John wears a size 2X jersey, you order a 2X with

A Look Back Into The History of Authentic NFL Jerseys

You've been at football games most of your life. You have jumped with joy every time your team makes that game winning touchdown. You went home with your head bowed down every time your team lost. Whether they win or lose, you still go to their next game excited and full of adrenaline. You do all this while wearing your favorite authentic NFL jerseys.

But how did football jerseys came to be? Do you have any idea about the history of authentic NFL jerseys?

According to the history of authentic NFL jerseys, the popularity of team uniforms surged sometime in the 1990's. However, reaching the height of what it is at present did not come that easy.

Although the National Football League started to gain ground during 1920, the idea of teams having uniform was not that prevalent then. Most teams not only varied their uniforms from season to season, they usually just bought them. Jerseys around this time was typically made of wool. Another thing that was unique during this period was the fact that football players did not have any helmets on. Why you ask? It is for the simple reason that the football league did not require players to do so at this time.

However, as the history of authentic NFL jerseys tells us, sometime in the period of 1930 to 1940, the league required players to wear helmets. One reason could be to protect the players from possible head injuries. The Chicago Bears' Dick Plasman was the last football player said to play without having a helmet on. Another development during this period was that teams were now placing numbers on the jerseys in order for the players to be easily identified.

Although the wearing of helmets was made compulsory during the 1930's, it was only during the period of 1940 to 1905 that football helmets had its special design. It is often said according to the history of authentic NFL jerseys, that a player belonging to the Los Angeles Rams for example, in the 1948 season, had the horns of a ram decorated into his headgear. During this period, teams also started experimenting with colors looking for the right combination.

History also tells us that during 1950, the National Football League experience a lot of changes. Teams were starting to realize that uniforms did not need to be so boring, so to speak. Most team opted for the plastic helmets replacing the leather helmets worn by the players.

When the American Football League was formed sometime in the period of 1960 to 1970, the increase in the number of teams paved the way for some remarkable uniform designs. Facemasks, which started sometime during the 50's, became the standard by the end of 1970. It was not until the 80's when the design used on uniforms were given a finality. One reason for this was likely due to the fact that there were no new teams during the 1980's.

As mentioned earlier, it was during the 90's that the popularity of jerseys experienced a surged. The sale of football jerseys was now one of the best merchandise. This period, the history of authentic NFL jerseys tells us, also experienced some changes in the design of team's uniforms largely because of some teams moving. The Rams for example, was now that St. Louis Rams. Some news teams were also introduced like the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Presently, the league now has a rule that allows a team to wear an alternate uniform for a maximum of three times per year.

So that's about it. So did you learn anything from the simple history of authentic NFL jerseys? Now you can go to games and wear you authentic football jerseys with more pride and more knowledge.

Football Fans Wearing NFL Jerseys, Helmets and Body Paint - Crazy, Or a Good Idea?

Oh, lighten up! The wigs. The official NFL jerseys. The pig snouts. The strips and stripes and logos stenciled on face and abdomen. The Swiss cheese hats. The Viking helmets. It's all just good, clean fun. Isn't it?

Well, maybe when you try to wash off those blue and white stripes, not so clean. Better stick with the NFL jersey.

Still, why go to all that trouble just to root for your favorite football team? Can't you have just as much fun in jeans and a T-shirt as you could in, say, a Swiss cheese hat and an authentic Packers jersey?

Maybe not.

Consider this: the team itself is not satisfied to dress in jeans and a T-shirt. Granted, it helps to have a visual clue when you're trying to throw a pass. Or make a block. Keeps the passing to and blocking of the wrong team to a minimum.

And that's the point: the team. By their uniforms ye shall know them.

There's something to be said for the camaraderie generated by dressing alike. When her kids were teenagers, a friend of ours noted that they made a point of dressing 'differently.' Which meant not like their parents. But, she observed, they all dressed exactly like each other!

So, too, if you're tailgating in the parking lot, by your NFL jersey shall they know you. Instantly, total strangers become long-lost friends.

Okay. Depending on which NFL jersey you happen to be wearing. But that still makes half the people in the parking lot friends. And it's not as if you'll be going to war with the rest of them. Well, probably not, anyway.

That is, dressing in the NFL gear of your choice can create a sort of non-toxic difference. The kind that usually allows both sides to have a drink (coffee, tea, or Bud Light) with each other after (or during) the game.

And look: you're not going to get half of the world to fall in love with the other half anyway. Not even on your best day. So if you can get at least a quarter of the spectators at any football game to become buddies with another quarter, well, you're half way toward, if not world peace, at least a merrier football stadium.

Besides, it's fun.

Bob Brooker and Kaye O'Dougherty have long believed that if you're willing to learn about football, it can improve your relationship, spice up your love life, and maybe even change the world. So they wrote a book about it: Football is for Lovers. You'll find it - plus relationship tips, articles, and how to dress for the game - at their website, http://www.footballforlovers.com They have thoughtfully made available a supply of NFL jerseys to put you in the mood as you read it. Wearing the Tennessee Titans' Jerseys

The history of the Tennessee Titans is interesting. They started out as the Oilers, in Texas, in 1960 with an oil rig derrick as their logo. From 1997 to 1998, they were known as the Tennessee Oilers and added the flag of Tennessee to their logo. Their name was changed to the Tennessee Titans in 1999. At that time the design on their Tennessee Titans jerseys was also changed.

In 1997 the team was moved to the state of Tennessee and first played at Memphis before moving to Nashville where they are still located. They play at the LP Field in Nashville and have a training facility at the Baptist Sports Park. They are members of the AFC in the NFL and have won AFL championships.

Four Titan players have had their jersey number retired in the 49 year history of the team. Number 43, Jim Norton, Number 65, Elvin Bethea, Number 34, Earl Campbell, Number 63 Mike Munchak and Number 74, Bruce Matthews. Each of these players earned distinction in the game of football, set records and received many honors.

The team colors are navy, Titans Blue, white, red and silver. The official Titan uniform has a Titan Blue jersey with navy sleeves and neck trim, it is worn with navy pants and white numbers. The other two uniforms are a white jersey with Titan Blue shoulders and sleeves, worn with Titan Blue pants and the third one is navy blue jersey with Titan Blue shoulders and sleeves and white pants. On many occasions, these uniforms have been intermixed but the official one is the Titan Blue jersey with navy pants. The white, red and silver colors are used on the helmet.

The team's fans have been enthusiastic about the variety of colors available in these jerseys as it allows them to select colors that will match other apparel and yet indicate their choice as to their favorite team. In addition to the colors, they have found the material light weight, easy to laundry and comfortable to wear. Often an entire family will show up at the football game all wearing the same color jersey.

The fans of the Titans have many ways to keep up to date with their activities. In addition to the team's official site, there are two fan club sites. These sites keep information regarding schedules and other information for the fans.

The jerseys are a mark of distinction with not only people in Nashville but throughout the world. Thanks to radio, television and the Internet everyone has access to seeing what they look like and being able to purchase them accordingly. Wearing a jersey with a favorite player's number and then being able to see that person play the game makes it very exciting for them.

The popularity of the Tennessee Titan jerseys is evident when attending a game where this team is playing. Throughout the parking area one will find families and friends having a tailgate party in anticipation of the big event. Each will be wearing a jersey with the number of their favorite player and their enthusiasm will be carried inside the arena to root for their much loved team.

What to Look For in San Francisco 49ers Jerseys

San Francisco 49ers jerseys belong to official team uniform for the team also know as the Niners. The team was established in 1946 and play home games in Candlestick Park at San Francisco. Headquarters for the team is located in Santa Clara, California. The team colors are scarlet and metallic gold with either white or scarlet lettering. Stripes are white and scarlet on gold pants. The socks are scarlet.

The team uniforms have varied significantly over the years, although shades of red are featured in almost every version. The reds range from brilliant scarlet to mid range crimson to a much darker and duller red during part of team history. Particularly during the first nearly twenty years of team history, there were several changes in color, usually involving the color of uniform pants.

The original uniforms consisted of jerseys in cardinal red. There was no trim. There were block white numerals on both the front and back of team jerseys. The pants were white or light gray in both the home and away uniforms. The away jerseys were white with red lettering on the back and the front. Helmets varied in color and were made of leather. They typically were red, silver or gray.

Team uniforms gradually shifted away from the use of silver or gray in the garments in favor of the old-gold color, in honor of miner's gold. Some changes in decorations, such as the number and angle of the shoulder or sleeve stripes was the main change from the late 1960s through the next score of years.

Like many of the other warm climate teams, the 49ers jerseys are affected by the outside temperature when playing home games. This affects the style and weight of uniforms worn on away trips as well. When playing a warm weather team whose home jersey is white, the Niners have used a mesh red jersey in the past as their away uniform. Other uniform choices during the latter part of the 20th century mostly consisted of variations in the thickness, color and placement of stripes on both the pants and the jersey. Helmet designs showed some changes as well.

The current uniform consists of a home jersey in cardinal red with white block numerals and angled sleeve stripes. The away jersey is inverted with red numbers and stripes on a white background. The pants for both uniform uses are old gold metallic with red and white stripes. The socks are always red. The helmets are the metallic gold of the pants with a red medallion logo. The logo has white letters "SF", with edging of narrow black and gold surrounding the red background.

Because of the record number of wins racked up by the 49ers, the jerseys, novelties and collectibles are very popular amongst fans. History of the Buffalo Bills Jerseys

The Buffalo Bills football team is based out of Buffalo, New York. They are members of the American Football Conference Eastern Division. They are known to be an immensely popular and well followed team. During most seasons all their homes games are sell outs, as are the majority of away matches. If you want to get hold of Buffalo Bills jerseys then this article will help you to learn a little more about the history of the uniform and the changes which have occurred over the years and decades.

The Bills were charter members of the American football league and became part of the NFL in 1960 when the two competitions merged. In 1964 and 65 the bills won consecutive championships and are in fact the only team to have ever won four consecutive AFCCs. Since that time the team has not been as successful, in fact they lost all the four Super Bowl finals that they have been part of.

Though the ultimate trophy still alludes the team, their statistics show how in all other respects that have been very successful. The tally up until today includes two AFL championships, four AFC championships, ten divisional championships and seventeen play off appearances. It is no surprise to discover the vivacious support that follows the team. Fans in New York State are known for their passion and love for football. The Bills are actually the only NFL team to play within the state of New York. The New York Jets and New Your Giants host their matches in New Jersey.

The original colors worn by the team were blue, silver and white. The famous red bison logo was taken on board back in 1962 when the uniform was switched to blue, red, and white. It is these colors that are still used today. It was then in 1974 that further changes were made including a new logo with a blue charging bison that has red steam trailing off its horns.

Eight years ago there was a new design of kit created, though using the original colors. The white jersey now has a red stripe down the sides. The helmet now used has seven stripes - two white, two nickel, two royal blue, and one navy blue in color.

When playing in New York, the Buffalo Bills usually wear the blue kit. Away games typically feature the all white selection. Under coach Dick Jaurin the team have continued this tradition.

Starting in the 08 - 09 season, the bills announced they would play one home game a year in Toronto. They are the only team in the competition to have two home stadiums due to this.

The Buffalo Bills are often referred to as the All American team. The red, white, and blue colors on their jerseys which are representative of the colors on the Stars and Stripes are proudly worn. Though the design has been altered over the years the spirit remains unchanged. Why not show your allegiance today by getting hold of the latest design of jerseys for your friends and family.

The History of the Kansas City Chiefs Jerseys

The Kansas City Chiefs play in the American Football Conference Western Division. The team is based out of Kansas City in the state of Missouri. Originally they were known as the Dallas Texans and were charter members of the AFL in 1960. It was three years later that the team moved to Missouri and was renamed accordingly. If you are a fan then you should get your hands on the latest Kansas City Chiefs jerseys to proudly wear at home as well as when out and about.

So far the Chiefs have been victorious in three league championships and have an all time record of 92 - 50 - 5. The club were only the second ever AFL team to defeat a National Football League team in the Super Bowl. This was against the Minnesota Vikings way back in Super Bowl Four. Sadly, this has been the franchises last win up until today.

The 2008 season was not one of the best for the Kansas City Chiefs. In fact it was the club's worst ever year with a poor 2 - 14 record. This can mainly be put down to the club fielding the youngest team in all the National Football League; the average age of their starting squad was only twenty five. As these players gain experience it is believed that the club will be able to regain their past glory. In 2009 the squad was bolstered with the addition on linebacker Mike Vrabel and quarterback Matt Cassel.

The team's colors have been red and gold for nearly fifty years. Originally the helmet featured a logo of the state of Texas with a bright yellow star highlighting Dallas; this had to be replaced in 1963 when the time shifted their base to Kansas City. The old Texan state logo was changed into an arrow head design which incorporated the letters KC.

The team use red helmets and white pants. These stay the same whether the matches are held in Missouri or out of the state. Usually, the jersey worn at home is white, while at away games they wear a red design.

There have only been slight changes and tweaks to the design of their jersey over the years. For example in 2007 a patch was added to honour the AFL and Lamar Hunt. This consists of the original AFL logo from back in the sixties as well as Hunt's initials. This became a permanent feature on the jerseys in the 2008 season.

During the 2009 campaign, throwback kits were all the rage to commemorate the American Football League's fiftieth anniversary. The Chiefs occasionally use this vintage design for special selected games.

The Kansas City Chiefs are well known in the NFL as having one of the most loyal and largest fan bases. Although they may not get so much media attention they still are able to generate the second highest ticket sales in the competition. On average there have been 77,000 attendees at each match since 1996. It is therefore no surprise to discover the jerseys are such hot items. Isn't it about time you started wearing the latest design?

Choose Cincinnati Bengals Jerseys to Show Your Support

The Cincinnati Bengals belong to the AFC north division of the NFL. They were originally members of the American football league and became part of the national football league in 1970 when the merger between the AFL and NFL occurred. If you are after the latest Cincinnati Bengals jerseys then you have come to the right place. This article has been put together to give you a greater knowledge on the history of their kit.

In the Bengals first season the uniform worn was very similar in design to that used by the players of the Cleveland Browns. The team's colors were white, orange, and black, with a helmet that had no stripe but did have the teams name emblazoned across both sides. The Cincinnati Bengals played without numbers on their jersey sleeves up until the beginning of the eighties.

It was only in the 1981 season that a new kit was introduced. This featured black or white jerseys, trimmed with black and orange tiger stripes. There were also a new design of helmet brought out which was orange with black animal stripes. This uniform was used for sixteen years up until 1997.

It was in 1997 that a new logo incorporating a tiger leaping was introduced and added to the sleeves of their jerseys. In the year 2000 the striped tiger pattern was updated and more accents were added to the design. The black jersey now featured orange sleeves, while the white jerseys had black sleeves and orange shoulders. The leaping tiger logo was replaced at this time with a bold orange "B". Around the same period they also introduced an orange jersey and black pants in to some of their games.

As Cincinnati is not known as being a hot city, the home games usually feature the black jerseys whereas away games use the white design. The only slight difference is the early pre-season home games during which the summer heat has not fully died down; at this time the white jerseys may also be worn.

Cincinnati Bengals are well known for being one of the few teams in the NFL that do not use a general manager. The current high standard of play and teamwork has helped the present team to increase their fan base massively. It does not matter how long you have been a supporter for, choosing the latest Bengals jerseys is a prerequisite for any die hard fan.

When it comes to getting hold of any Cincinnati Bengals memorabilia you have a number of options open to you. Of course if you are going to visit the Paul Brown stadium then you can go to the supporters shop and pick up genuine gear. If you live far away from Cincinnati then the next best option would be to purchase a jersey online.

The Bengals have been known for producing some of the best players in the NFL. Isn't it about time you helped contribute to the team's purse by getting hold of their latest jerseys. Why delay any longer!
